i am. so incredibly normal about this book. as always, ajw blew it out of the water.

the story follows a 16 y/o autistic trans boy named miles, who ends up in the middle of a blood feud and class war in the middle of rural west virgnia

miles' characterization is fantastic, and this book literally had me screaming at the wall for the last 200 pages. i finished the second half of this book in one sitting, and By God, was it worth it.

it's got everything, queer rep, old sexy miner ghosts, and The Dog Lives!!

do urself a favor and pick this one up

(also the ghost of saint abernathy is everything i've ever wanted to be and more)
